Just a few more pictures of local hiking. Earlier in March, Ian's dad George visited us, and when he arrived in London there was no snow on the ground. Then overnight we got about 20cm of snow! So obviously the thing to do when you visit South Western Ontario in the winter is to get outside and enjoy it. So here are some pictures of Ian and George hiking in the snowy trails:

And just as a side note-we had double digit temperatures last week and just in the last 2 hours it has started snowing again. It is actually sticking enough that shovelling is going to be necessary. Oh well!

Wow - so much to comment on where do I begin?

Maybe in your past life you were a pioneer girl forced to make your own soap in order to be clean. How else do you explain the gravitation you take towards cooking up and brewing all sorts of products. And Ian, well he must also have had a previous cowboy kind of life because they used to build their own coffins and I think they look just like the soap mold. Uncle Rod could tell you better because he used to be John Wayne in every western movie ever made! Sorry, I digress!!!!!

You certainly have an admirable collection of kitchen "stuff" and you get the "thousands of bowls used" from Auntie who often uses 3 or 4 just for cereal in the morning. The new goodwill find is lovely and I will keep my eyes open for a large ceramic bowl however, you should probably get a pottery kiln, fire it up in the backyard and make your own!

Sadly, snow can continue into April so hang tight and hope that your shovelling will be minimal. Of course that is easy for me to say because the only shovelling I have done in the past 5 months is food into my mouth!!!!!! I will however be home in 5 days and maybe, just maybe there will be 1 last snowfall for me to enjoy.

I am glad Ian and his Dad had a good time and got lots of exercise. The hike pictures really are quite beautiful! There is another job for you in the future - landscape photography.

As always, your blog is interesting and fun. Keep up the good work blogging as apparently, you have more time on your hands since the Mister is doing your chores!

Love ya,
Auntie
