I have been delaying this post while I tried to think of a fencing joke. but no luck. so here are some pictures of our yard, which is a TOTAL DISASTER! we are tearing down trees, there are cute boys with chainsaws, dogs from next door (yes, Kujo) running into the yard, all for the purpose of a beautiful new fence. times 4.


Ian's new favourite toy: the fence puller. I'm sure it has another name, but neither of us know it. Actually this project has justified several new tools, and my new favourite is called "whiskers" no joke!

Lots of work has been happening in the basement as well. A new tenant moved in this morning, so we were tiling, cleaning, painting, and plumbing. Doesn't look much different, but I don't think there are any pictures of the suite on this blog. It's actually cute-gas fireplace, little stove, 2 bedrooms.

Maybe we should move in there and rent out the disasterous upstairs!

A few people have asked why we've not been blogging this summer. Truthfully, I am considering ending the reno blog. But before it's put to rest, here are some pics of the projects we've been working on:
